Adventure
Hollowroot Expedition
★★★★★ 4.6
Hollowroot Expedition is quiet in the best way. You explore an overgrown forest, charting paths, finding little bits of story tucked under roots and inside ruins. There's no combat to speak of, just curiosity pulling you deeper.
The atmosphere does the heavy lifting. Rain patters, light filters through leaves, and the music fades in only when it matters. We played with headphones late at night and it was genuinely calming. Navigation can get confusing in the mid-game, but a map upgrade helps once you find it.
If you like adventures that trust you to wander, give this a slow afternoon.
